THE LONE RANGER
Johnny Depp, in front, stars as Tonto and Armie Hammer as The Lone Ranger in Walt Disney Studios' big-budget western The Lone Ranger. The movie was first released in the United States last june.
The Lone Ranger was released in the movies for the first time in 1938, as a serial produced by Republic Pictures. But, the heroic cowboy would become worldwide known only when a TV and movie series, starred by Clayton Moore, was released from 1949 to 1957.
